Myah Wiersema served in the 2024-25 Youth Mental Health Corps in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During her service term at Cherry Health, she connected children and families to community-based resources and addressed immediate needs like food, clothing, and transportation while also facilitating referrals to therapy and counseling. Myah is just one of more than 300 Corps members who have supported nearly 10,000 young people across four states during the first year of the Youth Mental Health Corps.
